Mazury Air Show - Pologne

Au nord de la Pologne, la ville de Gizycko accueille un show aéronautique très ambitieux. Nous avons demandé une version anglaise de leur site Internet..

 ABOUT EVENT

Mazury Airshow 2012 is the third edition of one of the largest aviation events in Poland. Previously, since 1999, demonstrations were held under the name Air Festival Mazury accumulating a large audience enamored in sky evolutions, at the organizer (Aero Club of the Lake) airfield in Wilamowo near Ketrzyn. In 2010, the organizers wanted to interested a wider audience in aviation and moved part of the demonstrations in the vicinity of the city beach and the port of Gizycko over Niegocin Lake. The great interest and wonder the audience confirmed that this is the best location for the event and thats why new editions are held here in this place.

Our airshow guests are always the best pilots - Polish and World champions, demonstration teams and individual aerobatics. You can enjoy modern and historic aircraft, even from the early twentieth century.

Mazury Airshow is the only place in Poland, where the audience has the opportunity to enjoy the amazing flying machines such as seaplanes. Only here they can fully demonstrate their capabilities landing and take off directly from the surface of the lake - shores of the lake are a natural amphitheater for the public to ensure optimal visibility. An additional advantage of Mazury Airshow is the fact that in Poland is the only air show of this size that you can watch for free.
